Personal branding for founders and experts whose work is ahead of their reputation
A personal brand is a point of view, published consistently, in a voice people recognise. I help you find the claim only you can make, build content around it, and set up a publishing routine that fits your week.
For founders and experts whose work is better than their reputation suggests.
I should post more on LinkedIn.
I need to know what I stand for, then post.
Consistency is easier with a point of view. This usually fits when
- You know you should publish and have no idea what to say.
- Peers with less experience get the invitations, the clients and the press.
- You post in bursts, then disappear for months.
- A raise, a new firm, a book or a speaking goal is coming, and people need to know your work first.
Start with the claim only you can make
Most founders and experts hold a sharper point of view than their public profile shows. We find it through conversations about your work: the decisions you make, the mistakes you see clients repeat, the beliefs you hold that your industry does not. That becomes the claim everything else is built on.
Then build a routine you can keep
- Content pillars. Three or four subjects that carry your claim, so you never start from a blank page.
- Platforms. LinkedIn, a newsletter, or both, chosen for where your buyers and peers already read.
- Voice and tone guide. How you sound in writing, so posts stay recognisably yours.
- Cadence. A rhythm that fits your week. Weekly for six months does more than daily for two weeks.
- Launch plan. How to begin, or begin again, without a big announcement.
Personal branding or ghostwriting?
Personal Branding gives you the strategy and the routine, and you write. If you want me to write under your name, that is Ghostwriting. Many clients combine the two: we set the point of view together, then I write in your voice.
How I apply it
Personal brand clients are confidential. What you can read is my own work: this website, which brings a practice across strategy, search, content and product into one identity, and the essays on my blog.
- This websiteOne positioning for a multidisciplinary practice, written for English and Arabic readers.
- Meta Vision, my blogEssays written in my own voice.
Questions before hiring
Do I have to become an influencer?
No. The goal is a reputation among the people who buy from you, hire you or invite you. That audience is much smaller and far more useful.
How much time does it take each week?
It depends on the routine we set. Many clients start with one considered post a week and a monthly newsletter. If you have no time to write, Ghostwriting covers it.
Which platform should I use?
Usually the one where your buyers and peers already read. For most founders and experts that is LinkedIn, sometimes with a newsletter for longer thinking.
When does it start bringing opportunities?
Personal brands compound slowly: people need to see a point of view repeated before they remember it. We agree what to watch in the first months, such as replies, conversations and invitations.
